Meet AJ
AJ Jain is running for Insurance Commissioner because he understands how the system is rigged against Georgia families — and he's done watching politicians let it happen.
An immigrant who worked his way up surrounded by poverty, AJ built a successful career — first as an academic, then in business, and then starting a charity, Feed A Billion, which delivered more than 7 million meals to people in need.

AJ Jain will end rubber-stamped rate hikes.
Under the current GOP Insurance Commissioner, Georgia home insurance premiums have shot up more than 30 percent — far faster than inflation. In 2024 alone, families saw an 8% increase. And with extreme weather taking an ever-greater toll, there’s no end in sight. Auto insurance is more expensive than it should be, too — we pay the ninth-highest rates in America.

AJ Jain will hold insurers accountable — so you can count on the coverage you paid for.
Your insurance is supposed to protect you. But too often, when you need it most — like when your truck gets hit or a tree falls on your roof in a storm, or a loved one who had life insurance passes away — you can’t depend on it. Insurance companies delay your payout. They deny your claim. They cut your coverage, or refuse to renew you.
- On the Issues
AJ Jain will make sure you don’t pay more because of your ZIP code or credit score.
Auto insurance costs up to 25% more in heavily Black ZIP codes in Georgia than the statewide average — meaning a driver can pay over $1,000 more per year for the same coverage on the same car with the same driving record.
